Behavior Charts: Students are given behavior charts as needed if they are consistently breaking one or more of the rules listed below. Each child that has a behavior chart will get a new one every Monday. Each day they have numbers 1-7 on their charts. They get marked off starting with the #7, so they then will have 6 marks, then 5. At the end of the week the marks are totaled and hopefully they got less marks than the previous week. This continues until they are able to follow all the classroom rules consistently.

RULES:
1. Keep your hands, feet, and other objects to yourself.
2. Do not talk while Mrs. Lemay is teaching.
3. Raise your hand to ask a question.
4. Be kind to other students.
5. Work hard, and do your very best.
6. Keep yourself and others safe.
CONSEQUENCES:
1. If you are disturbing the class, or interfering with my ability to teach, you will have a time out in the classroom.
2. If you break one of the rules above, you may have one or all of the consequences listed below:
-reminder
-2 minute time out *conference with me, to discuss ideas on how to fix your behavior
-verbal apology *call home to mom or dad, by you or me to discuss your behavior
-written apology *chat with the principal
-writing of the rule
-sent to the principal with disciplinary form
3. If you are constantly misbehaving, I will send you to the principal every time you misbehave because I have a responsibility to teach all students, and it is unfair to all of us, including you.
